Agreement on use of Logosease (dive transceiver) pick-up and repair service

The following terms of use apply to your use of the "Logosease (Dive Transceiver) Pick-up and Repair Service." If you fully understand the contents of the terms of use (including the handling of personal information) and wish to use the "Logosease (Dive Transceiver) Pick-up and Repair Service," please click "Agree" below. Yamagata Casio Logosease Repair Service Terms of Use

1. This service allows you to apply online for the Yamagata Casio Logosease repair service. After applying, you will send the product to be repaired to the designated repair center, prepaid. After that, the Yamagata Casio repair center will repair the product and deliver the repaired product to the location specified by the customer. The customer will be responsible for the round-trip shipping costs.

However, we may refuse to repair models for which the minimum period for which repair parts have been in stock has elapsed.
In addition, we may refuse to repair models that are difficult to repair due to significant damage caused by dropping, etc.

【Important】

・Customer data (audio data, other data) recorded on the Logosease that we receive for repair may be lost during the repair. Please note that we cannot guarantee this customer data. We ask that you save and store the recorded data yourself.
・During repairs, replaced parts may be recycled and reused. Unless otherwise requested at the time of repair acceptance, we will collect the replaced parts.
・The minimum retention period for repair performance parts of our Logosease is 7 years after production ends. Performance parts are parts that are essential to maintain the function of the product.
*Pickup and delivery of repaired products will be limited to your home or designated address in Japan.
*Please keep any products that are not subject to repair or breakdown, and any unrelated accessories.
*However, if you have recording media, an AC adapter, or rechargeable batteries that are necessary to confirm the symptoms of the breakdown, please send them together with the main unit.

2. Fees

・When using this service, regardless of whether the product is within the warranty period or not, or whether repairs are possible or not, if it is outside the warranty period, a separate repair fee will be required.
The repair fee will be estimated after investigating and analyzing the actual product.
 
If the product is within the warranty period, we will carry out free warranty repairs in accordance with the warranty regulations. If the product is within the warranty period, please be sure to send the warranty card along with the product to be repaired.
However, if the breakdown is caused by customer mishandling such as dropping, impact, sand, dust, mud, mold, etc., repair fee will be charged even if it is within the warranty period. For details, please refer to the warranty.

3. Warranty

- For repairs within the warranty period, be sure to attach the warranty (with the name of the store where you purchased the product and the date of purchase written on it, no copies allowed) to the repaired product.
- Even if the repair is within the warranty period, if the warranty is not attached, it may be treated as a repair outside the warranty period (paid repair).
- For repairs within the warranty period, even if the warranty is attached, if the breakdown is caused by customer misuse such as dropping, impact, sand, dust, mud, mold, etc., or improper storage, repair will be charged. For details, please refer to the warranty provisions on the warranty.
・Please note that extended warranties (insurance) set by the dealership do not apply to this service.

4. Holding period

This service takes about 3 to 4 weeks from picking up the repaired item to delivery, but please note that it will take a few more days to deliver the repaired item in the following cases.

・When the repair takes time because the malfunction cannot be confirmed.
・When parts procurement takes time
・When there are long holidays during the repair period
・When the delivery address is a remote island

5. Cancellation

If you wish to cancel after applying, please contact us by email, phone, or inquiry form. If you have already sent the product to the repair center, you will be responsible for the return shipping fee.

6. Re-repair

If the same failure occurs in the same location within three months after our repair, we will repair it free of charge. Please be sure to send the repair invoice along with the repaired product.
The customer will be responsible for the round-trip shipping fee.
We will determine whether or not the product is eligible for re-repair.

7. No repair

Even if the investigation and analysis of the requested product shows that there is nothing wrong with the product or the repair will not proceed, we will charge you the analysis fee (3,300 yen including tax) plus the return shipping fee.

8. Handling of repaired and repaired products

If the customer refuses to receive the repaired or repaired product, we will store it for a reasonable period of time. If the customer does not receive these items despite our notice, we may dispose of them at our discretion at the customer's expense, and the customer agrees to this in advance.
Our company will not accept defective or repaired items for the purpose of disposal.

9. Disclaimer

Except in cases of our company's willful or negligent conduct, we shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the customer as a result of the customer's violation of the Terms of Use.

10. Handling of Personal Information

Our company will use the personal information we receive, such as your address, name, telephone number, and email address, only for the purpose of providing this service and subsequent user support.
We may disclose personal information to delivery companies and other business partners necessary for providing this service, after requiring them to strictly manage personal information, and the customer agrees to this in advance.

11. Compliance

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Japan.
